Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.

Art and Hope Intersect: Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and University of Arizona Launch Global Vaccine Poem Project
Update: The Global Vaccine Poem project is finding success with more than 1,900 submissions so far from more than 100 countries. The project is a collaboration between the Wick Poetry Center and the University of Arizona Poetry Center.
Hope Springs Through Verse: Global Vaccine Poem Has Grown to More Than 1,700 Stanzas Worldwide, Gains Attention of Ohio Governor
The Global Vaccine Poem, launched in early April by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Wick Poetry Center and the University of Arizona’s Poetry Center, has grown to more than 1,700 stanzas submitted by people in all 50 states and 89 countries.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, at his May 17 news briefing on the COVID-19 pandemic, shared a video about the project to encourage all Ohioans to submit a stanza.
