Bobby Sanabria Brings Rhythm, History and Heart to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State

As part of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s ongoing 2025-26 Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series, the university hosted seven-time Grammy nominee Bobby Sanabria as a guest artist. He led master classes, rehearsals and lectures focused on music, business and social change.

While most people his age were settled in their careers, 50-year-old Ron Sonedecker was learning to direct, winning awards and swapping computer code for camera shots.
