As the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship prepares to move to the state-of-the-art Crawford Hall on East Main Street in spring 2024, the college is seeing increased enrollment among both freshman and graduate populations.

“If Monday was a color, she’d be red...”  The third annual Read-In @ ����ֱ�� State was held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Taylor Hall. This open-mic event gave students, faculty, staff and alumni the opportunity to read excerpts from or speak briefly about banned and challenged books that are important to them.  

The League of Women Voters and ����ֱ�� State Votes have joined University Libraries to encourage students, faculty and staff to . Staff will be available in University Libraries' lobby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the dates and times below to assist those who are registering and requesting absentee ballots.

On September 29 and 30, families of ����ֱ�� State students were honored with fun events and activities during the university's annual Parents and Families Weekend.

����ֱ�� State will host over 1,600 family members and their students to celebrate Parents and Families Appreciation Weekend. This Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30, families from more than 23 states and Ohio will enjoy various campus events and activities. 

����ֱ�� State senior Sydney Weber sees extraordinary images through her lens and an exciting career in her future. 

It was a FAB-ulous time for tacos on Wednesday, Sept. 27, during the “Let’s Taco Bout Black Squirrel Festival” preview hosted by ����ֱ�� State University’s Flash Activities Board.

A group of 22 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at ����ֱ�� State University as part of a Fulbright program of professional development for foreign educators. 

While Alison Caplan grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, and has spent time in ����ֱ��, when she joined the university as the new director of the May 4 Visitors Center in July, she began to see, and understand, the campus in a whole new light. Caplan is part of a group of Golden Flashes that ����ֱ�� State Today will be following for the 2023-24 academic year.

A full schedule of fun activities is planned for Parents and Families Appreciation Weekend – Sept. 29 and 30 – at ����ֱ�� State.
