Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University will be closed Sept. 7 to observe Labor Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on Sept. 8.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University will welcome more than 1,000 new graduates to its alumni family during summer commencement on Aug. 8. The ceremony, held at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center, will confer 1,010 degrees across associate, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and educational specialist levels.
David Costello, Ph.D., professor in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Department of Biological Sciences, will use AI and 50 years of river data to help locate critical minerals like copper, cobalt and manganese for a U.S. Department of Energy Genesis Mission award.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State is introducing a $1,000 scholarship for domestic, prospective first-year undergraduate students who visit in person and enroll at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus and eliminating the undergraduate application fee for all domestic, Ohio residents – two new steps to make a college education more accessible and affordable.
