The ����ֱ�� State community planted more than 100 trees in the Climate Change Grove to help offset the university’s carbon footprint and provide a way to research the effects of climate change in our immediate environments.

Bobby Selvaggio, associate professor in the School of Music and director of the jazz studies program, has a storied musical resume. But what he is most proud of are the lessons he can pass on to his students.

Scott Hallgren, associate professor in the School of Media and Journalism, teaches several classes in digital media production with a focus on sound in picture. He recently showcased his skills outside the classroom by composing the score for a local short film while also releasing his first book.

Fashion students from ����ֱ�� State and IFA Paris collaborated to present their first runway show during New York Fashion Week 2022.

Sponsored by the ����ֱ�� State University Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s highest alumni honors. Recipients are selected based on their exceptional professional and civic contributions and for their outstanding support of the university. The 2022 Alumni Award recipients include six alumni and one student.
