Recent Graduate Chazzlyn Jackson Honed her Passion for Social Justice Activism at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State
When recent Undergraduate Student Government (USG) President Chazzlyn Jackson started her journey at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University in 2018, she had planned to major in fashion until a mentor with Kupita/Transiciones (K/T) cultural orientation program helped her tap into her leadership abilities and passion for social justice issues. The advice played a pivotal role for Jackson, who stepped into leadership roles and anti-racism advocacy and has not looked back.
Best Friends Graduate From Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at the Age of 18
During Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s spring 2022 commencement on May 14, Jameson Payne will earn his bachelor’s degree in integrative studies with concentrations in physics and political science. Benjamin Wales-McGrath will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology at the age of 18.

Biology Graduate Joins Exclusive Group by Earning Doctorate at 25
When she receives her doctorate degree in cellular biology on May 14, Amber Rose Titus will enter an exclusive group: She will become one of just seven Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University graduates to earn her doctorate at the age of 25 or younger.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Hosts Lebanese Students for Study in Architecture
The horrific images of the massive explosion that rocked Beirut, Lebanon, in August 2020, motivated Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University officials to reach out to help. Their thoughts immediately turned to Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut and its School of Architecture and Design, with which Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design has been cultivating a relationship for the past several years.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Celebrates Its Newest Graduates With Spring Commencement Ceremonies
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University alumni family will grow by more than 5,000 new graduates as the university holds its spring commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Spring Class of 2022 will be recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies on May 12-14 and May 20 and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on May 15.

The protected prairie surrounding Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Friday, April 29, starting around 9 a.m., to allow for new growth during the summer season.
Student Trustee Dylan Mace Recognized by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Board of Trustees and Fraternal Association
Leadership roles in the Interfraternity Council and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity served as preparation for Dylan Mace's service on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Board of Trustees when Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine appointed him in July 2020. Mace’s two-year term, in which he served as a member of the Board’s Academic Excellence and Student Success Committee and the Finance and Administration Committee, will expire May 16, 2022.
