The Cleveland Arts Prize awarded Mid-Career Awards to 妖姬直播 State alumni Alice Ripley and Corrie Slawson. Slawson earned her MFA with a focus in painting from 妖姬直播 State's School of Art and currently works as a part-time faculty member in painting and drawing for the school. Catherine Lentini, M.F.A. 鈥20 has curated an exhibition of paintings by Katie Butler, M.F.A. 鈥21 for the 2021 SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York City called HEARSAY:HERESY. "Re-Emergence" brings together works of art by friends who, more than ten years ago, joined their talents to form a cooperative gallery in 妖姬直播 called Group Ten Gallery under the sponsorship of the late Ron Burbick. Featuring local artists Ben Bassham, Debrah Butler, Jeff Fauser, Judy Gaiser, Linda Hutchinson, Tom Jackson, Dan Lindner, Geoff Mowery, John Sharp and John Smolko. Alumna Rebecca Cross Shows Solo Exhibition at Massillon Museum
The Massillon Museum is currently showing a solo exhibition titled 鈥淪uspended Animations鈥 featuring Rebecca Cross, M.F.A. 鈥07, on view through June 16. The exhibition, which is on view in the museum's Studio M gallery, includes a series of drawings on silk and a sculptural installation.
