Making the Connection: May 4, 1970, and May 18, 1980
A literature professor from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, is wrapping up a year as a visiting scholar at 妖姬直播 State University with hopes of creating an exchange program between the two schools based on their historic campus tragedies.
Before he leaves the 妖姬直播 Campus at the end of June, Yeonmin Kim, Ph.D., 鈥13, hopes to have plans in place for a continued exchange of students between the two universities, to further the understanding and legacies of May 4, 1970, at 妖姬直播 State and May 18, 1980, at Chonnam.

Advancing the legacy of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on 妖姬直播 State University students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine students and forever changing the lives of countless others, the university will hold its annual commemoration on May 3-4.
