From Trash to Treasure: Cleveland Youth to Design, Fabricate Public Space Installation in Former Landfill Through Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Program

In an effort to expand racial and ethnic diversity in the design fields, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative created Making Our Own Space (MOOS), a design/build program for middle and high school students. The program introduces youth to opportunities in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.

Downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Mill Fire

Fire Erupts in Downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥


On Friday morning, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State issued an advisory to the community about a fire that erupted at the former Star of the West mill in downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. Though the smoke is visible from campus, there is no danger on campus as the fire is contained to downtown.
