Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Celebrates Its Newest Graduates With Spring Commencement Ceremonies

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University alumni family will grow by more than 5,000 new graduates as the university holds its spring commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Spring Class of 2022 will be recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies on May 12-14 and May 20 and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on May 15.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Breaks Ground for Future Home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University officially broke ground on Crawford Hall, the future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8 in a ceremony attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests.

Daniel Wolfe, ’82

From a young age, Daniel Wolfe, ’82, vice president and general manager of Nationwide Aviation Business Center, was infatuated with airplanes after admiring his father’s service in the Air Force. He turned his love of aircrafts into a successful aviation career, beginning with the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State flying team. As a competitive person, this program was his favorite way to team up with other high achievers and represent the university in what he deems to be the best collegiate flight team in the nation.

Donors of 24 Named Spaces in New Crawford Hall

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Approves 26 Named Spaces in New Crawford Hall in Recognition of $10.7 Million in Philanthropic Gifts

During its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Board of Trustees approved naming resolutions for 17 spaces to be located in the future Crawford Hall based on philanthropic gifts of $100,000 or more. An additional nine named spaces were approved by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State President Todd Diacon that were below the required Board approval threshold.

Allison Brager, Ph.D. ’11

As a soldier and elite athlete, Dr. Allison Brager is familiar with pushing herself physically and mentally. As an athlete, she was interested in both human performance and sleep, but it wasn’t until she signed up for a course called The Psychology of Sleep that she discovered the connection between the two. Brager earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Brown University in 2007, but she set out to earn a Ph.D. in neuroscience at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State for the chance to work with David Glass, Ph.D., professor of biological sciences and a world leading expert in the field. She is now an Army neuroscientist who studies sleep, particularly in extreme environments and high-stress situations.
