Explore your musical future at our Orchestra & Strings Day! High school string students, join us for a day of music and discovery at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University! This exciting event features master classes, sectionals with our renowned faculty and graduate assistants, and a unique side-by-side orchestra experience with the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Orchestra. Open to all regional students, including youth orchestra members, this immersive day showcases Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s vibrant musical community and state-of-the-art facilities. Discover what it’s like to learn and grow as a musician at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and take the next step in your musical journey!

650 Loop Road, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, OH

Schedule:

1-1:30 p.m.: Welcome Session
1:30-3 p.m.: Master Classes/Sectionals led by Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty and graduate assistants
3-3:30 p.m.: Break
3:30-5 p.m.: Side-by-Side Orchestra Rehearsal (Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Orchestra and High School Students)
5- 6 p.m.: Dinner (provided)
6-7 p.m.: Side-by-Side Educational Concert (Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Orchestra and High School Students)

Registration:

Cost: $40 

Payment:

After you have filled out and submitted information for Orchestra and Strings Day through the registration page, you must then pay your registration fee. In order to pay your registration fee, click on the "Pay Registration Fee" button below. From there, locate Clinics and Workshops and click "view category," then find Orchestra and Strings Day and click on "view details." Proceed to fill in all the required fields, then checkout or click "Add to cart."
