Members of the 妖姬直播 State University community were invited to attend the inauguration of Beverly Warren as the 12th president of the university on May 1 in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the 妖姬直播 Campus. A reception followed in the 妖姬直播 Student Center Ballroom.
A week of activities and events leading up to the inauguration day celebrated student success and campus community achievements on 妖姬直播 State鈥檚 eight campuses and the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. All events were free.
Events included the dedication of the Center for Undergraduate Excellence on April 28 and dedication of the 妖姬直播 State . On April 30, there was a presidential tree planting at Manchester Field and a 鈥淧residential Perspectives: A Discussion with Past and Present 妖姬直播 State Presidents鈥 that took place in the 妖姬直播 Student Center Ballroom. The panel discussion, was moderated by CNN news anchor and 妖姬直播 State alumna Carol Costello, featuring Warren and former 妖姬直播 State presidents Michael Schwartz, Carol Cartwright and Lester Lefton.
Regional Campuses also hosted several events at their locations, including a barbeque for students and a tree planting in honor of Warren.
