Early Assurance Programs
Our accelerated pathways provide qualified students with a clear, supported path to medical, pharmacy and podiatric programs.
Students can enjoy a typical college experience and be eligible for priority consideration or reserved seats at select professional schools.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University College of Podiatric Medicine
The College of Podiatric Medicine at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State is one of only nine podiatric colleges in the United States. The college provides state-of-the art facilities for education, research, and patient care.
The Podiatric Pathway program is for students who want to work in foot and ankle medicine, potentially focusing on surgery, sports medicine, diabetic care, or biomechanics. Students apply for a seat in their junior year.
NEOMED College of Medicine
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University and NEOMED’s College of Medicine have partnered to create an Early Assurance Program (EAP). The EAP is designed for students who wish to attend medical school and would like to reserve a seat while still in college. Students are eligible to apply in their second year at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.

NEOMED College of Pharmacy
Early Assurance Pathway
This is an ideal program for students who know they want to pursue a career in pharmacy and wish to have some flexibility in their path. Students apply in their second year at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State. Depending on their progress, they may have one or two more years at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State before joining NEOMED.
3 + 4 Degree Pathway
Biochemistry majors can follow the 3+4 degree pathway, allowing them to complete their first 3 years at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State before joining NEOMED’s College of Pharmacy. Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
During their senior year of high school or within their first two years at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, students can apply for tentative early acceptance at LECOM’s:
- School of Pharmacy
- School of Dental Medicine
- College of Ostephatic Medicine
Students must complete their undergraduate degree at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and meet all LECOM admission requirements.
