
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University held its annual Homecoming celebration Saturday, drawing alumni, students and community members to campus for a day of festivities centered around this year's "Flash's Birthday Bash" theme.
Saturday's events kicked off at 9 a.m. with a Block Party near the grandstand on Summit Street. The event featured food trucks, music, a caricature artist and inflatable games.
The Homecoming Parade debuted a new route down Summit Street at 10:30 a.m. This year's Grand Marshals were former Flash mascots, honoring the birthday theme. The parade included the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Marching Golden Flashes, local high school marching bands, the Homecoming Court, university colleges and departments, cheerleaders, student-athletes, student organizations and local officials.
