
Bright young minds from the I Promise School, Akron Public Schools enjoyed an interactive field trip to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University that included visits to five interactive stations, including Simulation/Air Traffic Control, Engineering Challenges, Drone Operations, Airplane Preflight and Aircraft Lift and Drag demonstrations.

Faculty, staff and students from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Airport coordinated the day’s activities as 80 sixth graders experienced highlights of the university’s facilities and programs.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation continues to create meaningful educational experiences for over 1,600 students in Akron, showing these talented, young students that college is within their reach.
