IN A FLASH: One Cool Cat

When Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's in October at Dix Stadium, they brought a secret weapon: an orange cat named Hyperion - "Hype" for short.  "Hype" was Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's representative in a cat-to-cat match up with "Pudge," another orange cat that has received a lot of attention on the web as Bowling Green's athletic mascot and feline good luck charm. However, Hype's mojo won the day as Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State beat Bowling Green 24-21.

After the winter storm in January, Hype's human companion, Mahli Mechenbier J.D., a senior lecturer at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University at Geauga's Twinsburg Academic Center used the abundant snow to create a frosty tribute to her beloved cat.
