Ashanti Mallit's childhood fascination with aviation led her to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, where she is now a professional pilot major. She discovered Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State through the United Aviate Program, a career development initiative that helps aspiring pilots transition to United Airlines as first officers.

Freeman Fellows Program Offers Aid for Student Internships in Asia

Undergraduate students from any major who are interested in pursuing an international internship in East and Southeast Asian countries may be eligible for up to $6,500 to help make the experience affordable.

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Office of Global Education is offering the awards through the KSU Freeman Fellows Internship in Asia Program, which this year has received a grant of $85,000 to offer support for up to 12 students.
