Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and Cleveland State Partner to Shorten Time Students Need for Bachelor’s, Law Degrees
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has established a new partnership with Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law to offer students two pathways to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and a law degree from CSU in six years. The new 3+3 program will shorten the length of time typically needed to complete both degrees.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Leads First Comprehensive Greater Akron LGBTQ+ Specific Community Needs Assessment
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has partnered with Greater Akron community organizations to conduct the first comprehensive and specific LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment (CNA). Efforts of this assessment focus on producing a better-informed public health system and improving the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community members.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State College of Nursing, Cleveland Clinic Akron General Team Up to Offer Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Certificate Program
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s College of Nursing and Cleveland Clinic Akron General are joining forces to offer an adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certificate program beginning this fall. This collaborative one-year program was created to address the regional and national shortage of SANE-certified registered nurses, especially in rural areas.
Pittsburgh Penguins and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Partnership Scores Unique Opportunities for Golden Flashes
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State has partnered with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins since 2018, allowing this nationally recognized hockey team to work closely with the university and providing professional and recreational aid to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State community.
