Honors Student Receives Dr. Elizabeth Howard Memorial Honors Scholarship

Gabrielle (Gabby) Volz is a second year Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Honors College student from Mansfield, Ohio, and a graduate of Lexington High School. 'A Supportive Community Makes It a Lot Easier'

Students coming to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and, for some of them, living away from home for the first time can struggle with the transition. The transition can even be more difficult for LGBTQ+ students, particularly for those who have recently "come out." Ken Ditlevson, director of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State's LGBTQ+ Center, talks about the many resources available at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to support them.
