What makes a person pursue a reward? And what makes one give up, when that reward becomes too much of a challenge? What causes that burnout? Researchers from the University of Washington and Washington University, along with other collaborators, are seeking answers to those questions. Almost 50 years ago, the shootings of ����ֱ�� State University students by the Ohio National Guard brought to a head the cultural divides that had split the nation.
