Do credits earned as a Guest student establish a cohort?

No. The Golden Guarantee only applies to degree-seeking students. If you previously took a few classes at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State as a guest student or while in high school (College Credit Plus), your tuition cohort is not established until you officially matriculate into a degree-seeking program. At that time, you will be assigned the cohort rate in effect for that term.

How is my tuition rate determined as a transfer student?

Your Golden Guarantee rate is based solely on the academic year you begin your degree-seeking studies at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State. Whether you transfer 3 credit hours or enough to be considered a senior, you will be assigned the current academic year's cohort rate. While your transfer credits may shorten your time to graduation, your guaranteed tuition rate is fixed for four academic years from your start date at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State
