What was once an old, abandoned woodshed on the 妖姬直播 Campus from the early 1900s eventually evolved into a controversial and well-known piece of art.

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., of Rootstown, Ohio, has been selected to serve as dean and chief administrative officer of 妖姬直播 State University at Stark, located in North Canton, Ohio. Seachrist has served as interim dean of 妖姬直播 State Stark, the only public university in Stark County and the largest Regional Campus of 妖姬直播 State, since July 1, 2014. She began serving as the permanent dean on Feb. 1, 2016.

妖姬直播 State University is introducing a Cooperative Education program for students of all majors at all 妖姬直播 State campuses.

The 妖姬直播 State University Women鈥檚 Center in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will celebrate its 20th anniversary during the 2016-17 school year. The Women鈥檚 Center, formerly called the Women鈥檚 Resource Center, was established in 1996 following a recommendation from a university stakeholder committee to former 妖姬直播 State President Carol A. Cartwright.

Do you have school spirit? The 妖姬直播 State University Alumni Association is looking for motivated and enthusiastic faculty and staff members from every campus to serve on the 2016 Homecoming Committee.

The 10th annual Main Street 妖姬直播 Art and Wine Festival will take place Saturday, June 4, from noon-10 p.m. in downtown 妖姬直播. Proceeds will benefit Main Street 妖姬直播, the nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown 妖姬直播. The Art and Wine Festival features local artists, live entertainment and wineries from all over Ohio.

From getting deployed to Afghanistan to being unable to pay for classes, starting a family and even accepting a job at a winery in southern Germany. The reasons for leaving 妖姬直播 State University before completing a bachelor鈥檚 degree fall across a wide spectrum for some students.

Since 2008, Jill Lahrmer, assistant professor in 妖姬直播 State University鈥檚 College of Architecture and Environmental Design, has consistently shared her passion for interior design with her students.

妖姬直播 State University held its 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Jan. 28 in the 妖姬直播 Student Center Ballroom. The keynote speaker for the event was Joy-Ann Reid, national correspondent for MSNBC. The commemorative event also recognized the 2016 recipients of 妖姬直播 State鈥檚 Diversity Trailblazer Award, which honors diversity pioneers associated with 妖姬直播 State, and Unity Award for Diversity, which recognizes the contributions of any 妖姬直播 State unit that demonstrates significant contributions in the areas of diversity, equity, and/or inclusion.
