2015 Ohio Science Olympiad Workshop

��ֱ�� State Ashtabula will be hosting their 4^th annual Ohio Science Olympiad workshop for middle and high school students to practice for their events. With our instructors and professors, participants study science topics relating to events in which they will compete at the regional, state and national level. This year’s event also includes a keynote speaker, Dr. Tara C. Smith, from the College of Public Health at ��ֱ�� State University. Her speech, titled “Ebola and Emerging Diseases: Why we’ll always have pandemics,” will begin at 11:00 AM. The event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:50 PM. ��ֱ�� State Regional Campuses extend their congratulations to the exceptional students who have been named to the President's List and Dean's List. Their outstanding academic achievements demonstrate remarkable dedication, hard work and academic excellence.

Those named to the President's List have attained the highest distinction by earning a 4.00 grade point average while enrolled in 15 or more letter-graded credit hours.

��ֱ�� State Ashtabula Celebrates Fall Graduates at 81st Commencement Ceremony

��ֱ�� State University at Ashtabula honored the Fall 2025graduating class at the campus’s 81^st commencement ceremony on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the gymnasium of Susan J. Stocker Hall.

“Commencement represents an important milestone in every student’s journey,” said Dean and Chief Administrative Officer R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D. “It’s a wonderful occasion and an inspiring evening to gather as a campus community to celebrate their achievements and accomplishments, as well as the bright futures they’re stepping into.”
