The Growing Democracy Project

On Thursday, January 26 the Growing Democracy Project will host an artists鈥 reception in the Uumbaji Gallery in Oscar Ritchie Hall at 妖姬直播 State University (妖姬直播 Campus) for the Photovoice Project on Race and Democracy in northeast Ohio. The event is free and open to the public and runs from 4-6:30 p.m.   Photovoice is a community-engaged art project that uses photography and storytelling to describe the strengths, weaknesses, and overall health of our community. Laura Gordon

Laura Gordon, '87, had such a fulfilling experience as a 妖姬直播 State University student, that she now gives back so that others may find their way to the types of relationships and encounters that helped set her on her path. Following an initial two-year period, Molded Fiber Glass (MFG) Chairman Richard Morrison recently returned to the 妖姬直播 State University at Ashtabula Campus to announce a two-year renewal of the MFG Foundation Ashtabula County Scholarship program. As in the program鈥檚 first two years, the program is funding $50,000 in scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year and $50,000 the following year.
