CommUNITY Lab’s meaning to me lies within the name itself, it's a community. A community of people that go above and beyond, and even put themselves on the line for students to reach goals that we hold dear. There have also been bonds with other students that I have developed because of community lab. I personally appreciate the support on all levels academically and personally from Todd and Amanda.

For Communication Studies major Angela Gerstner, ’24, enrolling in the course Global Communication gave her the opportunity to share the history of Indigenous people and the land they used to call home. Taught by Associate Professor Stephanie Danes Smith, the course focuses on human rights and human dignity. Congratulations are in order for the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Precision Flight Team for another successful appearance at the National Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON), hosted by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA). The team competed from May 8th through May 13th in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Teams compete in regional SAFECON events throughout the year to qualify for the National competition.
