This year marks a major milestone for the campus: the centennial of student media at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. For 100 years, our student journalists, photographers, designers, and media leaders have captured daily life at this institution, documenting our history while preparing for their own careers.Student media’s story begins in February 1926 with a publication named Searchlight, which in turn paved the way for the first issue of The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Stater in July 1926, under Editor-in-Chief Peg Hayes. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Men's Basketball (20-7, 11-3 MAC) clinched a berth in the 2026 MAC Tournament with a 78-71 victory over Bowling Green State University on Tuesday night at the Stroh Center. The Golden Flashes extended their winning streak over the Falcons to 14 games behind a dominant performance from Morgan Safford and clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch.The victory clinched a berth in the 2026 MAC Tournament in Cleveland and marked the 20th win of the season.
