Franklin Advertising, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s pre-professional student run advertising organization, hosted the first annual FAd Awards competition this spring, honoring Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students for creative work completed for class, internships or personal projects. The following students were recognized in an awards ceremony on April 27, 2016:

- Emily Thomas, '16 (visual communication design) - Best Logo
- Kendall Hall, '18 (digital media production) - Best Photography
- Nancy Wilson, '16 (visual communication design) - Best Print
- Karen Isaacs, '17 (digital media production) - Best Video
- Kelly Powell, '18 (journalism) - Best Writing
