FAA Workshop Overview

A series of 3-day train-the-trainer workshops will be provided to high school teachers from Northeast Ohio and the surrounding region as part of the workforce development program for high school students. The high school teachers will be trained in a curriculum that will be a meaningful experience in preparing students to become aircraft pilots and/or unmanned aircraft systems operators. As part of their training, the teachers will be given the opportunity to earn a Part 107 Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Certificate through in class and online training. All workshops will be held at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State campus and airport.

How to Get Started

  3. Click on "Enroll".
  4. If you have not previously created an account, you'll be prompted to do so, and you would enter your "@kent.edu" email address. If you already have created an account, click on "Already have an account? Sign in here."
  5. Select the "I have an active FlashLine account - Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University" login option.

  4. If you have not previously created an account, you'll be prompted to do so, and you would enter your personal email address. If you already have created an account, click on "Already have an account? Sign in here."
  5. If you are using a personal email (e.g., gmail, outlook, yahoo), select the "All other learners - Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Learns" login option.
