Furtado has served on numerous boards of trustees in Knoxville, Tennessee. Currently, she serves on the boards of the Cleveland International Film Festival and Hillel at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. Furtado is married to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s 13th President, Todd Diacon, and the couple have a son.
