Biography
Piper teaches Art History for the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University School of Art. She holds an M.A. in Art History and a B.S. in Anthropology from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, where she graduated with honors. Her thesis research focused on 15th century Sienese art, and she spent several semesters studying at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s campus in Florence, Italy. She has worked as a researcher and translator for the Uffizi Gallery, making her the first Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State student to do an internship through the Florence program.
Piper has taught Italian Renaissance Art History at Walsh University and now teaches Art as a World Phenomenon and Ancient to Medieval Art History at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.
